bike globe_120_clear2 Robby's Ride around the World

The world's first entirely human-powered solo circumnavigation

Route

route 650

The route Robby will be taking will first head north to Alaska, forced to off-road along the Iditarod Trail to Nome, the across the Bering Strait. From there, more off-roading in far eastern Russia until pavement starts in Yakutsk. Then head west across Eurasia and cross into Africa from Spain via the Strait of Gibraltar. Then pedal south and cross the Atlantic and the Equator to Brazil, and finally head north through South and Central America, bringing Robby back home to Texas.

Unfortunately, you can't exactly just use Google Maps for this kind of route, so the total distance is uncertain. As of now, the best estimate is that the route is approximately 35,000 miles, and the route should take about two years.
